Whatever my opinions are about chocolate and sweet things, they do make great gifts for other people. Let’s start with the birthday present, something that you are obliged to give family, friends, and in some cases mere acquaintances. It can be really difficult to buy presents for people, especially if you don’t know them all that well. Even if you do know them well, sometimes there is just nothing that springs to mind that you should buy for them. However, some people do really like chocolate, and therefore this is a great present to get for them. Even if they have not made it explicitly clear that they are in love with the stuff, chances are they will still like it. So get them a nice-looking box of chocolates, not the cheapest one on the shelf, and you should be fine.
Chocolates are also a great thing to get for other occasions, such as if you are congratulating someone, saying sorry or trying to be romantic. If there is a box of chocolates lying around, there is a very high chance that they will get eaten, from the person munching on them while playing Party poker to someone else breaking them out at a dinner party for a tasty and simple dessert. You can open them when people come round to your house and offer them to your guests, as well as sneaking a quick treat now and then. The ability to give them as presents removes the stress that finding a present for someone can bring. Chocolates are simple, yet appreciated and giving them as a present is not likely to go wrong. So there are good points about chocolates and sweet things, they can be used to make other people happy and appreciative of the gift you have given them.

Beyond writing words and shit, I like to make some moving pictures. Take a gander at this new sketch from me and my friends at The Lifelong Weekend. It’s called THE OTHER GUY and as the sketch suggests, you should see it.
If you think that’s bad… then share the link anyway. Thanks, folks!
